Help us put a CAP on Cancer!
Fall is a vibrant season, full of beauty and color. While most of us picture the reds, yellows and fading green of falling leaves, at Super Lube they see pink. Neon pink to be exact.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Super Lube invites you to help them Put a Cap on Breast Cancer.
How can you contribute?
You could wear pink all month, or your car could! Drive into any of the five Super Lube locations in October and donate five dollars. You’ll receive a set of four pink tire caps as well as a coupon for a complimentary Winter Tire Installation (most cars). This year, to increase donations and reach their goal of $15,000, Super Lube has added more pink accessories. The more you give, the more you get!
The best part is 100% of your donation goes directly to the CancerCare Manitoba Foundation.
“The funds raised through Pink Caps for Cancer will be provided to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation to support screening programs. Cancer screening is for people who have no signs or symptoms of cancer. It can prevent some cancers by finding and treating changes before they develop into cancer and can help find cancers early when treatments may work better. Cancer screening saves lives.” -CancerCare Manitoba
Breast cancer is the most common cancer diagnosed in Canadian women. It will affect over 21,000 Canadian women this year alone. Chances are it has already affected you or someone you love.
Jim Brousseau, owner of Super Lube has taken this cause to heart, and wants to care for more than just your car,
"At Super Auto Centres we have a lot of customers come to us for help maintaining their car. This puts us in a great position to help raise awareness and funds for important causes. We think it’s the responsibility of every Winnipeg business to help the community we serve. We are very proud to be a part of Pink Caps for Cancer and partnering with the CancerCare Manitoba Foundation.”
Whether it’s for your mom, grandma, sister, friend or maybe your very own survival - all of us can Help Put a Cap on Breast Cancer.
